The staff were lovely and really friendly. I did have to wait a little longer than expected, but they were so nice about everything that it didn’t really bother me.

Took the kids here and it was just easy. The staff were really chill about the mess, the crayons kept them busy, and the food came out fast enough that no one had a meltdown. always a win

I saw the drink selection and quickly assumed everyone would find something they liked—that’s exactly what happened. Lots of options and no one had trouble picking one.

It was smooth. There was plenty of parking, which is always a relief, and I got in without any hassle at all. Just kind of... easy, which I appreciated.

The food was okay and there’s a decent amount on the menu, but my first impression was that a lot of it felt kind of similar. I just had this gut feeling after looking through it and trying a meal that I’d probably run into the same flavors quickly. Not bad, just didn’t quite have the variety I was hoping for.

Everything arrived nice and hot, and even the chips were still crispy, which is always a good sign. Really happy with the order overall, clearly they know what they’re doing. No complaints from us at all!

I’ve been here a few times now, and every time I leave thinking it was worth the money. The portions are big, the food’s tasty, and it doesn’t feel overpriced for what you get. Not sure why, but places like this always make me think about how hard it is to find a decent meal that doesn’t cost a ton anymore. Anyway, yeah, solid spot

I was happy with the vegan options here. Nothing too fancy, but they were tasty and it was nice to actually have a few solid choices for once lol.

I went to Hickory’s recently after seeing loads of the smokehouse stuff online, so I was excited to try it. The place itself had a nice vibe and the staff were friendly, which definitely helped the evening. The food was okay overall, but the BBQ didn’t really hit like authentic American barbecue to me. The brisket was a bit dry and I didn’t get much smoke flavour from it, especially compared to some better BBQ I’ve had lately. The ribs were probably the best part and I did enjoy those. It wasn’t a bad night at all, but it felt more like a UK chain doing its version of American BBQ rather than the real deal. I’d go again if friends wanted to, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t be rushing back for proper barbecue.

My first impression of Hickory’s was really positive because it was so easy to find. I went with my family, and being close to the main roads made getting there simple. Parking was straightforward too, which took a lot of the usual stress out of the visit. It just made the whole experience feel easy from the start.

I emailed Hickory’s not really expecting much, if I’m honest, but they replied quickly and were really fair about it. The manager was polite and seemed to genuinely listen, which I think makes a big difference. We left feeling like they actually cared, so I’d be happy to give them another go.

Went to Hickory’s last weekend the food was lovely once it finally turned up. The drinks and mains took ages though, and we felt a bit forgotten about even though the staff were friendly when we did see them. What annoyed me a bit is how places seem to have these little policy loopholes where no one really takes responsibility for the wait as long as they’re technically “busy” or you haven’t complained loudly enough. I’d probably go back because the food was good, but definitely not if I was in any kind of rush

I really liked the vibe here. It had such a chilled, easygoing feel that I felt properly relaxed the whole time. Personally, I’d say it’s a great place to unwind and I’d definitely go back.

The cocktails were really good, like... actually fresh and strong. Not watery at all, which I really appreciated.

Went to Hickory’s for my wife’s birthday and we had a really nice night. The food was tasty, the portions were huge, and the staff made a sweet little fuss of her, which she really appreciated. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the drinks took quite a while to come out, which felt avoidable, and it was loud in there. Still, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back for another occasion.

I stopped by and ended up having to wait because there weren’t always tables available. It wasn’t the end of the world, but it was kind of annoying. I also didn’t get the feeling customer service would be super helpful if I complained, so I just dealt with it and waited.

I ordered from Hickorys recently it was all spot on. Nothing was missing, no wrong items, and the food matched exactly what I’d picked online. It was ready on time too, which always makes a difference. Based on that last order, I’d definitely order from them again

Every time I try it, it’s never quite the same as before. Keeps things interesting, I guess 😄

The place was mostly clean, the tables looked wiped down and the bathrooms were alright. The only thing was the floor near our booth felt a little sticky, which was kind of off-putting. Not a huge deal, but I did expect it to be a bit better

I wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being quick and hassle-free. No fuss, no drawn-out process, just got it done, which I can appreciate.
